Working Together

Who does PeakStone work with?

PeakStone works with households, executives, business owners, and organizations making consequential financial decisions. That may include wealth transitions, business liquidity, retirement income, workplace financial wellness, or the need to coordinate planning, investments, taxes, business interests, and family responsibilities.

Is PeakStone a fiduciary?

Yes. PeakStone Wealth Management is an independent registered investment adviser with a fiduciary duty to act in a client’s best interest when providing advisory services. That standard shapes how we approach advice, conflicts, fees, and recommendations.

What happens in an introductory consultation?

The first conversation is focused on context. We discuss what prompted you to reach out, the decisions in front of you, and whether PeakStone’s advisory model appears aligned with your needs. It is not a sales presentation, and you should not include sensitive account information in the request.

Services & Advisory Fit

Do I need a certain asset level to work with PeakStone?

Fit is based on complexity, planning needs, and the advisory relationship required. Assets may matter for some services, but they are not the only signal. Family priorities, business ownership, planning scope, and decision complexity can all shape the right path.

Does PeakStone work with business owners?

Yes. PeakStone helps business owners connect enterprise value, liquidity planning, personal wealth, tax-aware strategy, and long-term family priorities. The work is designed to bring structure before, during, and after major business decisions or transitions.

Can PeakStone support workplace financial wellness?

Yes. PeakStone works with organizations that want to provide financial education, planning resources, and advisor-guided access for employees. In workplace engagements, the organization is the client and employees are participants in the program.

Can PeakStone help evaluate insurance needs?

Yes. Insurance can be part of a broader planning conversation when it relates to risk management, estate planning, business continuity, or family protection. PeakStone does not center its advisory model on insurance product sales, and any licensed activity, compensation arrangement, or potential conflict would be disclosed as required.

Fees

How does PeakStone charge?

PeakStone’s fee structure is designed for clarity before work begins. Depending on the relationship, fees may be asset-based, fixed for planning, or tied to a defined engagement scope. The applicable fee structure is discussed before any advisory relationship begins.

Does PeakStone receive commissions?

PeakStone’s advisory model is centered on fiduciary advice, not proprietary product sales. Any material conflicts, compensation arrangements, or limitations are disclosed as required before a client engagement.

Where can I review fee information?

The fees page explains PeakStone’s fee philosophy, advisory schedule, and the types of costs that may apply. Formal disclosures and the public fee schedule should also be reviewed when evaluating an advisory relationship.

Compass

What is Compass by PeakStone?

Compass is PeakStone’s private client and member experience for organizing planning priorities, documents, account context, and next steps. It is designed to make advisory conversations more connected between meetings.

Is Compass a replacement for an advisor?

No. Compass supports the advisory relationship; it does not replace judgment, context, or personal guidance. The platform helps organize information and progress so conversations with PeakStone can begin with better visibility.

How is client information handled in Compass?

Compass is designed for private client access and secure information sharing. PeakStone uses Compass to organize planning context, documents, and advisory follow-through, and sensitive information should be shared only through approved secure channels, not public website forms.

Planning Guides

How do planning guides work?

Planning guides are educational PDF resources designed to help organize a specific decision before a deeper conversation. They may cover investment policy, business transition, retirement income, family stewardship, and other planning topics.

Are planning guides personalized advice?

No. Planning guides are general educational resources. They can help clarify questions, tradeoffs, and next steps, but they do not create an advisory relationship or provide personalized investment, legal, tax, insurance, or financial advice.

Why does PeakStone request information before guide access?

The request form helps PeakStone deliver the guide securely, understand the context for the request, and follow up only when permission is given. The guide access flow is designed to be respectful, clear, and compliance-aware.

Security & Disclosures

Should I include account details in a public form?

No. Public website forms should not include sensitive personal, account, login, or confidential information. If secure exchange is needed, PeakStone will provide an appropriate channel.

Where can I find PeakStone disclosures?

PeakStone’s legal and regulatory information is organized in the Legal section of the website, including disclosures, privacy information, and other required notices as applicable.

Does submitting a form create an advisory relationship?

No. Submitting a website form, requesting a guide, or scheduling an introductory conversation does not create an advisory relationship. A formal advisory relationship begins only after the appropriate agreements, disclosures, and acceptance process are completed.

Good answers should make the next step easier to see.
